We are looking for full-time Nursery Associates/Supervisors for our busy garden center and gift store in Littleton.  Associates/Supervisors will have an active role in running the day-to-day operations of our full-service garden center while assisting customers with plants, pottery, garden center products along with working with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.  Our garden center selection includes a gift shop, floral design, indoor plants, annuals, perennials, shrubs, pottery and an extensive line of essential garden supplies. 
The Nursery Assocaite/Supervisor will operate in an active retail store environment and may include both indoor/outdoor work in a seasonal or year-round position.  Weekly availability including one weekend shift per week and the availability to work extra hours during peak seasons is required. 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in the selection, purchasing, movement and display of inventory as needed
  • Monitor all plant crops for proper watering, fertilizing and pest management
  • Maintain indoor greenhouse temperature, maintenance, selection and health of plants
  • Provide friendly efficient service to all customers while providing support and knowledge with plant selections and design
  • Work alongside/supervise outdoor associates to ensure tasks are being completed in accordance with company standards
  • Coordinate and unload a high volume of plant deliveries while inspecting for quality and quantity accuracy
Experience/Qualifications Needed
  • Solid plant knowledge in two or more areas of: nursery stock, perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables    including diagnosing and treatment of plants
  • 1-2 years’ garden center experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items which may include plants, bagged goods, statuary and oversized retail items
  • Ability to bend, stand, and walk for the length of your shift
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions



The Nursery Yard Associate will have a hand in running the day-to-day operations of our garden center assisiting customers and staff both indoors and outdoors.  Must be able to  provide a high volume of customer service including loading and unloading multiple plant material, trucks, customer vehicles and lifting med – heavy weight bagged material and garden store merchandise.  This is a fast pace, on your feet job, perfoming multiple tasks throughout the day.
Primary Responsibilities                                                                                                                  
  • Assisit customers and store personnel with a high volume of products                                  
  • Receive deliveries, load/unload using a forklift                                                                         
  • Price and stock store merchandise                                                                                                 
  • Duties, responsibilites and activities may change daily without prior notice
  • 1-2 years garden center or related business experience with plant knowledge preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Hydraulics license or ability to obtain one  is a plus

Fast pace upscale garden and gift store is looking for experienced cashiers to join our team.  Team members will be assisiting cutomers with purchases and inquiries of plants, pottery, garden center products, giftware while working along side other department members to ensure excellent customer service.  Ability to multi task with customer service, phone inquiries, store pricing, merchandising and a high volume of cashier transactions during peak business seasons.  Part time/seasonal and year round positions offer a flexible schedule and require working one weekend shift per week. Opportunity to work in multiple departments for the right candidate.
